NDSCS men’s basketball player Kaleb Larson signed to continue his athletic and academic careers at NCAA Division II Bemidji State University in the NSIC. Larson will study Business at the university.
“The coaches were awesome, made me feel like I was a part of the team already when I was on my visit, and I love the city,” Larson said of Bemidji State. “Being close to home is a plus. My parents and family can come to my games and continue to support me.”
Larson is from West Fargo, where he graduated from Sheyenne High School. Kaleb played at NDSCS for two seasons. This past season he was named second team All-Region, made the All-Tournament Team, and finished sixth in conference three-point percentage. Larson averaged 11.3 points, shooting 45.2% percent from the floor and 41% from beyond the arc.
“I’m really excited for Kaleb and his opportunity to be close to home,” NDSCS head coach Stu Engen said. “He has worked extremely hard in the classroom and on the basketball court and is very deserving of this opportunity. I am proud of Kaleb and he represents what it means to be a Wildcat.”
