The Wahpeton basketball teams were both victorious over West Fargo Horace on Friday.

McKena Koolmo exploded for a career-high 36 points in a 79-69 Lady Huskies road win. The senior also led the team in assists and steals with five and three, respectively.

Emma Bontjes, Scout Woods and Amyah Max each had nine points in the win.

The Wahpeton boys picked up a 68-62 home win over Horace. Caden Hockert knocked down five triples on his way to a team-high 19 points.

Jayden King and Ethan Manock each had double-doubles for Wahpeton. King had 16 points and 14 rebounds while Manock scored 14 to go along with his 12 boards.

Both of the Wahpeton teams move on to face Valley City on Tuesday.
