An arrest has been made in the murder of 40-year-old Jeremiah Medenwald on Friday.

Anthony Eugene Kruger, 33, of Breckenridge was charged with murder and reckless endangerment in the Monday shooting.

The arrest was announced shortly after 1 a.m. on Saturday morning according to Wahpeton Daily News. The arrest was made in the 1300 block of Third Ave. N., Wahpeton.

Assisting the Wahpeton Police Department were the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, SEMCA Narcotics Task Force, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, DEA and North Dakota State Local Intelligence Center.
