
Following their first two losses of the season, the Breckenridge Cowgirls got back on track with a 61-42 road win over West Central Area on Tuesday.
Four Cowgirls hit double figures in the win with Parker Yaggie scoring a team-high 17 points. She was followed by Abby Johnson with a dozen, while Addie Twidwell and Sydni Roberts each scored 11.
Yaggie, Johnson and Roberts were all dialed in from deep in the win as the team shot 57 percent from beyond the arc. Yaggie shot 5/7 from 3-point land, Johnson buried four out of her five tries and Roberts went 3/5.
Johnica Bernotas made her impact felt on the defensive end of the floor, swiping five steals.
Next up for the 10-2 Cowgirls is a 7:30 p.m. Thursday home game against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
