The Wahpeton boys basketball team hosted Grand Forks Red River on Tuesday and fell to the Roughriders 81-62.
Caden Hockert was Wahpeton’s top scorer with 20 on the night with Jackson Clooten following with 11.
Ethan Manock notched another double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Lady Huskies
Grand Forks Red River sent the Wahpeton Lady Huskies home with a 63-38 loss on Tuesday.
Scout Woods had over half of her team’s points with 22. She was also the team leader in rebounds and assists with seven and three, respectively.
Jocelyn Schiller had a triple-double for the Roughriders, scoring 19 points, dishing out 11 assists and swiping 10 steals.
The 3-4 Huskies and 4-3 Lady Huskies move on to face the Fargo Davies Eagles in a two-point matchup. The boys are home again with the girls on the road.
