Breckenridge standout Abby Johnson will continue her volleyball career in the Twin Towns as a member of the North Dakota State College of Science Wildcats.

Johnson ended her career as one of the top players in school history, first in career kills with 1,132 and second in career digs with 1,309. She’s the first Cowgirl to hit 1,000 kills and digs.

The five-year varsity starter had a team-high 150 kills this season. She was second on the team in digs and aces with 344 and 32, respectively.

Johnson joins her former teammate Camryn Kaehler on the Wildcats as the pair of hitters led the Cowgirls to the state tournament in 2021. It was Breckenridge’s first trip to state since 1980.
