One dead and one injured after shootout in Morrison County

One person is dead and another is injured following a shooting that involved an Otter Tail County deputy and Minnesota State Patrol trooper around 6 p.m. Thursday.
The shooting, which was confirmed by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, took place in Morrison County near Bowlus.
The shots occurred when West Central Drug Task Force attempted to stop a vehicle. A white male was pronounced dead due to the gunfire. Another individual who was in the vehicle was injured and a handgun was located inside the vehicle.
A body camera worn by a state trooper filmed the incident, which is currently under investigation.
