The North Dakota State College of Science women advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament with a 72-44 victory over Highland Community College in the North Central District Championship on Saturday.
Ivane Tensaie led the team in points and assists with 18 and eight, respectively. Arthel Massaquoi went for 15 points and shared the team lead in rebounds with eight.
The 30-2 NDSCS squad opens the national tournament in Lubbock, Texas, on Wednesday, March 16. They are the No. 20 seed and take on South Plains, the 13th-seeded team.
