Fire Department from Wyndmere with mutual aid from Lidgerwood Fire, Barney Fire & Mooreton Fire Department, were called at 3:44 AM Thursday, January 27th to the SE residence in rural Wyndmere for a House fire. The house had visible Fire & Smoke showing when Wyndmere Fire first arrived. The family of two adults and three children were able to escape without injury.

The house looks to be a total loss. Fire crews remain on scene this morning to put out hot spots from the fire. The Wyndmere Ambulance, Richland County Sheriffs Department assisted on scene as well. The American Red Cross will be assisting the family also. Richland County Emergency Management Director – Brett Lambrecht.
