After nearly 42 years of service to the citizens or Richland County, the past 18 being Richland County Sheriff, Larry Leshovsky is announcing his retirement effective December 2022.

“I am privileged to have been able to serve this long and honored that the citizens of Richland County placed their trust in me as their sheriff,” Leshovsky said.

Leshovsky plans to spend more time with his family.

He added, “I am very proud of the people I work with in the Sheriff’s Office and I am confident they will carry on the tradition of professional services to the citizens of Richland County.”
