The Breckenridge-Wahpeton Storm wrestling team competed in the Grand Forks Sertoma Tournament this on Friday and Saturday.
Bismarck Century edged BW 40-33 open the tournament. The Storm received a bye before falling to the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs, 47-27. The Storm picked up back to back wins over Turtle Mountain, 57-20, and Fosston, 60-20. Their final dual of the weekend was a 42-36 loss to Badger-Greenbush-MR.
Hunter Owens was 5-0 on the weekend with all of his wins coming by pin. Jackson Burchill was also unbeaten with four pins and a win by forfeit.
Aidan Ruddy and Grant Davis went 4-1 at the tournament while Weston Jensen, Myles Hinkley, Riley Kappes, Colman Barth 3-2. David Erlandson won three out of his four matches.
BW is on their home mat at Wahpeton High School taking on multiple schools at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
