The Breckenridge-Wahpeton Storm wrestling team picked up their first two team wins as a co-op in Grand Forks on Tuesday. The Storm took down the Grand Forks Red River Roughriders 52-18 and bested the Devils Lake Firebirds 48-35.

Against the Roughriders, Jackson Burchill, Colman Barth, Hunter Owens and Aidan Ruddy all had pins. Grant Davis also picked up a win by an 11-0 major decision while Wyatt Differding, Logan Schwartz, Bryce Awender and Weston Jensen claimed forfeits.

In the match with Devils Lake, Davis, Barth, Alex Martel, Jensen and Ruddy pinned their opponents. Owens, Differding and Burchill won by forfeit at their respective weights.

Next up for the Storm is their home tournament on Friday and Saturday at Wahpeton Elementary School.
