The North Dakota State College of Science volleyball team began their postseason with a bang, sweeping Lake Region State College by scores of 25-23, 25-9 and 25-19 on Sunday.

Maddie McKinnon and Stella Raser led the team in kills with eight apiece.

The Wildcats had another solid defensive showing at the net, coming up with six blocks. Bailee Brommenschenkel assisted on all of the blocks in the rout.

Morgan Vosberg dealt out 28 assists while Katie Krieger had a team-high 19 digs.

The Wildcats welcome the Dakota County Technical College Blue Knights to town for a 7 p.m. Wednesday match to determine the sub region champions.
