Due to an equipment failure, the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office is not currently able to activate the outdoor warning sirens located in the cities of Breckenridge, Cambpell and Foxhome. It is not immediately known how long his outage will last, but the public will be notified when the system is once again operable.
Although it is late in the season for severe weahter, it is still possible so please ensure you have alternate means to receive weather warnings and emergency alerts. As always, Wilkin County will continue to utilize CodeRED as an emergency notification system.
