Former Breckenridge High School and current Concordia head football coach Terry Horan will be inducted into the Minnesota Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame on August 13.

Horan will join former Cobber head coaches Jake Christiansen and Jim Christopherson in the MFCA Hall of Fame. Christiansen was inducted in 1970 and Christopherson received the award in 1996.

Horan will be entering his 21st season as head coach of the Cobbers this fall.
During that time, he has accumulated a 129-65 overall record and an impressive 100-53 mark again MIAC teams.

Horan is only the third coach in Concordia football history to win over 100 career games and 100 conference contests. Horan needs only 14 more victories to surpass the legendary Jake Christiansen for second place on the program’s all-time win list.

During his 20-year tenure Horan guided Concordia to 15 top 4 finishes in the MIAC in the past 16 seasons.

The Cobbers have finished in the Top 3 of the MIAC in six of the past eight seasons and have won five conference games in seven years during that span.
