The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported on Saturday that two separate crashes involving motorcyclists were reported near Walcott.

Both incidents took place around 2:30 p.m.

The first crash involved two West Fargo residents on a curve . Neither the driver nor passenger was wearing a helmet according to the Highway Patrol. Both sustained serious injuries were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

The second crash involved a man from Glyndon and a women from Fargo. The crash on County Road 26 rolled the motorcycle several times and both the rider and passenger, who were not wearing seat belts, sustained injuries and were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Both crashes remain under investigation.
