Breckenridge Post 53 played their second consecutive road game to open the season and needed extra innings to take down Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Thursday by a score of 10-6.

The game was tied at 6 at the end of regulation when Cam Nieto tacked on the first two runs with a two-run single. Emmit Vig brought in Nieto with an RBI double and Brayden Wahl smacked his third RBI single of the night to give Post 53 their 10th run.

Collin Roberts also had a three-hit game for Breckenridge with an RBI double. Chris Nieto plated two runs with two hits.

Emmit Vig went six and a third innings on the mound with Cooper Yaggie coming in to finish out the night. Vig gave up seven hits, three walks and six runs while striking out five.

Yaggie came in to pitch in the bottom of the seventh with a pair of men on base and they both scored on a double to force extra innings. He redeemed himself on the hill by striking out the side in the final inning to end the game.
