The Breckenridge baseball team had their season come to an end with a pair of losses on Thursday in Wadena in the Minn. Section 8AA tournament.

The day started off with top-seeded Perham putting an 18-2 beatdown on Breckenridge, which ended in five innings. The Yellowjackets started the game with an 11-run first inning and out-hit the Cowboys 17-4 on the day.

A bases-loaded double from Jayce Werner brought in the only two runs of the game for BHS.

In an elimination game against Menahga, Breckenridge had their season come to an end with a 9-7 loss.

Cam Nieto scored three runs in the season finale. Cooper Yaggie had an RBI double in his final game as a Cowboy.
Menahga took the lead and never let go with five runs in the third inning.

Breckenridge ends their season with a record of 15-7. Many of the players will move on to their American Legion season
