Richland junior Megan Roob announced her verbal commitment to continue her basketball career at Minnesota State University Moorhead on Wednesday night.

Roob joined the 1,000-point club as a sophomore and has been a regular in the Colts lineup since junior high. Richland went 9-11 this season and picked up a 51-35 playoff win over Enderlin, but were eliminated by Northern Cass in the opening round of the Region 1 Tournament, 59-46.

The Dragons were 7-6 in their conference-only 2021 season.
