The Breckenridge girls basketball team ran into a red-hot Hawley Nuggets squad in the Section 8AA quarterfinals Friday, who ended the Cowgirls’ season with a 61-43 victory.
Hawley, the No. 2 team in Section 8AA North, jumped out to an 11-1 on their home floor in the opening minutes. They took a 31-17 lead into halftime.
Kaylie Crabtree was lights out for Hawley, pouring in 29 points. Her sister, Kylie Crabtree, followed with 14.
Jude Held went down swinging in her final game for BHS, scoring 21 points.
It was also the final game as a Cowgirl for Grace Conzemius, who broke the school’s career rebounding record in the second half of the game.
The Cowgirls end their season with a record of 12-7.
