Just before the USDA announcement, the NPPC had launched a campaign to encourage pork industry workers to get vaccinated.
Dierks says the NPPC is working hard on the issue because vaccinations are vital to keep the nation fed and help it move past COVID-19.
He says the NPPC website has a lot more information about the need for vaccinations.
