DAKOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL PET PATROL PET CARE TIP FOR THIS WEEK:
A reminder that if you use salt for ice melt this winter, it can be an irritant to dogs’ and cats’ paws. Using kitty litter is more safe for your pets. It also works to reduce slipping and it is nontoxic to dogs and cats
DAKOTA VETERINARY POUND LIST:
Male shorthair black and white cat found on 4th Ave North in Wahpeton
Male shorthair tiger striped cat found on 8th Ave. North in Wahpeton
The Richland-Wilkin County Animal Pound’s Facebook page has more information available on what is going on with the pound on a daily basis.
THE DAKOTA VETERINARY HOSPITAL WANTS TO REMIND YOU OF THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS DURING THESE CURRENT TIMES:
Doing all services curbside until further notice. When you arrive call 701-642-9277 or text 701-786-1922.
Remember to bring all cats in a carrier and dogs on a leash in order to keep your pets safe.
For the surgical patient drop-off drive thru, drive between the cones when you arrive & stay in your vehicle – they will come assist you. Surgical forms are found on Dakota Veterinary Hospital’s website and filling those early will save you time.
They are requiring clients to reschedule appointments if they have a pending COVID test, been in contact with anyone COVID positive or if they are in quarantine. If you have pets in need of emergency service please contact someone to bring the pet in for them.
