Bison fall to SDSU in opener of Dakota Classic in Sioux Falls

The North Dakota State men’s basketball team opened up conference play with a tight battle against South Dakota State in Sioux Falls. The Bison fell short of their first win of the season with a 77-75 loss to the Jackrabbits.
NDSU trailed by seven at halftime as their comeback fell short.
Three Bison hit double-digit scoring with Sam Griesel scoring 20, Maleeck Harden-Hayes had 18 and Rocky Kreuser poured in 17. The NDSU bench could only muster six points in the loss.
The Bison stay in Sioux Falls for games the next two days. They’ll face South Dakota on today at 8 p.m. and North Dakota at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. Both games can be heard on KBMW.
