The Breckenridge Cowboys totaled five Midwest District Player of the Year Awards announced last week.
Seniors Daniel Erlandson was named Defensive Lineman of the Year, Gavin Johnson Offensive Lineman of the Year, Chris Nieto Offensive Back of the Year, Jacob Vizenor Receiver of the Year and Cooper Yaggie shared Quarterback of the Year with Barnesville’s Adam Tonsfeldt.
Tonsfeldt was tabbed Sub-District Player of the Year.
Senior Connor Twidwell joined Vizenor, Johnson, Earlandson and Yaggie on the All-District 5 Team with senior Jonah Christensen and Jared Aamold and Nieto making honorable mention.
