Your dog needs a well-groomed coat to keep properly insulated. Short- or coarse-haired dogs may get extra cold, so consider a sweater or coat as long as it does not impede the use of a harness. Long-haired dogs should have excess hair around the toes and foot pads trimmed to ease snow removal and cleaning.

- They are open, but doing all services curbside until further notice. When you arrive please check in for appointments or to pick up supplies/medications please call 701-642-9277 or text 701-786-1922.
- Please remember to bring all cats in a carrier and dogs on a leash in order to keep your pets safe.
- For the surgical patient drop-off drive thru, please drive between the cones when you arrive & stay in your vehicle – we will come assist you. Surgical forms are found on Dakota Veterinary Hospital’s website – having this filled out ahead of time would be helpful & to save you time!
- We are requiring clients to reschedule appointments if they have a pending COVID test, been in contact with anyone COVID positive or if they are in quarantine. IF they have pets in need of emergency service please contact a healthy individual to bring the pet in for them.
