Breckenridge three-sport standout Cooper Yaggie announced on his Twitter page Monday that he has a received a preferred walk-on offer from North Dakota State for football.

Yaggie will enter his fourth season as a starting quarterback for the Cowboys when the season begins on Oct. 9.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Yaggie also played safety for the Cowboys last season and also plays basketball and baseball.

Yaggie is the No. 135th ranked high school player in Minnesota according to MaxPreps.com.

If Yaggie does go to NDSU he would follow a long list of family members to play for football for the Bison, including grandfather Bob Yaggie, father Bruce Yaggie and cousins Carson and Alex Yaggie.
