A Canadian Goose field hunt will be offered in Minnesota to youth with their firearm safety certificate, ages 15 and under.

This mentored hunt will include: a pre-shoot of 25 rounds at a trap club, the participants will help with the decoy set up, hunt from a ground blind, take down the decoys, learn basic field dressing of a goose and be provided with a sack meal and beverage.

The pre-shoot for all participants is Friday, Sept. 11.

Youth will also be able to choose from 1 of 2 hunts on Saturday.

Hunt No. 1 is Saturday, Sept. 12.

Hunt No. 2 is Sunday, Sept. 13.

All youth will need to obtain the MN Small Game License to participate in the hunt.
