The North Dakota Department of Health announced on Wednesday 238 new cases of COVID-19 through Wednesday in the state.

Burleigh County led the way in new cases with 64, followed by Cass County with 29 and Wells County 12.

Richland County had no new cases reported on Wednesday and currently have just seven active cases of the disease – 2 in the age 20-29 category and the 40-49 category with 1 each ranging from age 12-14, 15-19 and 30-39.

The total number of coronavirus cases in the state is 1,784, a number that continued to set a new record since the disease was first reported in the state in mid-March.
